iceland was fascinating, not only for its soaring volcanoes, sweeping plains and sea-like glaciers, but also for its raw, terrifying beauty. i visited the island during winter and captured the many transitional colours of its nature- from the eerie aurora lighting up a black sky to the depths of the ice caves, the hues of blues of the sea and the shades of white ice and snow.
